Revitalization of Krakow's key areas

The City Council Programme of Krakow's Revitalization is about to be launched. The programme is intended to improve the architectural, social and economic situation of the city as well as to protect its environment and heritage. The programme will also improve the living conditions of Cracovians and attract tourists and investors to the city.

Two key areas of the project include the Old Town and the old part of Nowa Huta. The renovation works will be carried out at Kazimierz and Podgorze districts, mainly sw. Wawrzynca St, Mostowa St., pl. Wolnica, Rynek Podgorski and Park Bednarskiego. The renovations in Nowa Huta will comprise Laki Nowohuckie (Nowohuckie meadows), Pl. Centralny and Aleja Roz.

3,3 million PLN has been allocated for the project. The local authorities will also apply for the EU funds.
