Cracow University of Technology is one of two technical universities in Krakow. It has been educating students for over 62 years in seven faculties. Total number of alumni that graduated from the Cracow University of Technology exceeds 56,600. Presently there are over 16,000 students enrolled at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies. In 2006 the university was rated by "Newsweek Polska" as No. 7 university in Poland and its alumni find job easily due to their high qualifications. The Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology earned accreditation of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is the largest faculty of this kind in Poland.
