New easyJet route from Belfast to Krakow

Belfast is to benefit from a new link to Krakow when easyJet begins a new route to the Polish city next year.

The low-cost airline said that it would begin a three-times weekly service from Belfast International Airport beginning on April 24. Fares will start at £37.98 return, including taxes.

Tickets are not yet available but will go on sale later this month.

Other new routes from Belfast appear to be on the cards too. easyJet's regional marketing manager, Paul Cable, said: "Northern Ireland is a very important market for easyJet and we are looking forward to announcing more new routes and increased frequencies for summer 2007 in the coming weeks."

Existing European services from Belfast with easyJet include Alicante, Amsterdam, Faro and Nice. It is also well connected with other UK destinations, with flights to London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Inverness, Edinburgh, Bristol and Newcastle.
